The participants of the meeting discussed in detail the issue of organizing design and survey work for reconstruction of airport infrastructure facilities, also considered the issue of airport buildings reconstruction and organization of an air traffic control system.

Christina Ozgan said that the Abkhazian side expects the work on the design of the airport complex facilities will begin this year. In this regard, she asked for assistance in determining the criteria for selecting contractors to carry out design and survey work.

Alexander Neradko confirmed the readiness of the Federal Air Transport Agency to provide comprehensive assistance and noted that the interaction carried out within the framework of the joint Working Group is of a constructive nature and is currently turning into a practical plane. There has been developed a roadmap and consultations on design organization are underway.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in developing and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
