The internal affairs bodies opened a criminal case against Avidzba.

According to his lawyer Inga Gabilaya, Avidzba and five other people, his friends, are accused of illegal possession of weapons.

As the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported, as a result of search measures at the place of residence of the citizen Avidzba Akhrik Ruslanovich, born in 1986, law enforcement officers found cartridges of various calibers and patterns, equipped with a factory containers and packaging, as well as in bulk, hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, light machine guns and machine-gun boxes with belts, loaded cartridges, barrels of automatic firearms of Russian and foreign production, pistols, special equipment and radio transmitting devices.

The court must make a decision on the measure of restraint against Avidzba today, since the arrest of Avidzba took place on March 7 at 21:00. Meanwhile, the relatives of the detainee are standing near the buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service, located nearby, and are waiting for information about his further fate.
