Akhra Avidzba is accused of illegal possession of weapons together with a group of persons by prior conspiracy. He faces from two to six years in prison.
The side of the state prosecution asked to put Avidzba in custody for two months, arguing that the detainee refuses to cooperate with the investigation, as well as that being at large he can interfere with the course of the investigation.
The interests of Avidzba were defended in court by lawyer Inga Gabilaya.
As reported on March 5 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcement officers found cartridges of various calibers and patterns, equipped with a factory containers and packaging, as well as in bulk, hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, light machine guns and machine-gun boxes with belts, loaded cartridges, barrels of automatic firearms of Russian and foreign production, pistols, special equipment and radio transmitting devices, as a result of operational-search measures on March 4 at the place of residence of the citizen Avidzba Akhrik Ruslanovich, born in 1986.
