On the way to Tskhinval, the delegation of Abkhazia visited the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. President of Abkhazia was met by Chairman of the Government of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Taimuraz Tuskaev and representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Vladikavkaz Alan Khetagurov at Vladikavkaz airport.

Aslan Bzhania and members of the official delegation visited the "City of Angels" - a memorial cemetery in Beslan, where are buried children, teachers and parents who died in a terrorist act in Beslan school in 2004 . Aslan Bzhania laid flowers at the tree of sorrow. The head of state paid tribute to the memory of the soldiers of the special forces who died, freeing the children, laid flowers at the memorial in their honor. President of Abkhazia also laid a wreath at the memorial to the victims of the terrorist attack in the gym of the first Beslan school.

“Visiting the “City of Angels” and the first Beslan school cannot leave anyone indifferent, said Aslan Bzhania. When hundreds of angels look at you from the monuments, you look into their kind eyes and many thoughts come to mind. It seems to me that they are telling us - adults to do everything so that this does not happen again, so that children never suffer or die. No matter how much time has passed, it is impossible to forget this horror that took place in Beslan in September 2004. There is no forgiveness for such barbarism. I bow to the memory of those who became victims of this inhuman terrorist attack,” Aslan Bzhania noted.

Today the delegation of Abkhazia headed by President also visited the National Museum of North Ossetia.

The Abkhazian delegation was accompanied by the acting Minister of Culture of North Ossetia Elbrus Kubalov. In the afternoon, the delegation of Abkhazia departed for the Republic of South Ossetia.
