As the press service of the RA MFA reported, Foreign Minister spoke about the situation with coronavirus infection in Abkhazia. He stressed that today the situation is quite difficult, the increase in the number of cases is recorded daily. He also noted that the state is doing everything possible in these difficult conditions to prevent an even greater spread of infection in the country.

Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, told Minister that the request of the Foreign Ministry for the provision of a vaccine against seasonal flu will be satisfied. “The European Union is ready to provide a certain amount of vaccine at the beginning of November,” said Toivo Klaar.

There was also discussed the agenda of the upcoming round of Geneva Discussions, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
