There are 176 people at Gudauta Central Hospital at the moment, 140 of them have COVID-19 diagnosis. There are 23 people in serious condition, and 43 patients of moderate severity. 10 patients were discharged.

The total number of coronavirus cases identified in Abkhazia today is 2,903 people. 1197 people have recovered. 28 died.

31 people were delivered to Gudauta hospital in two days.

A patient with coronavirus infection born in 1957, was admitted to intensive care unit on October 15 with severe respiratory failure and bilateral pneumonia. He died at Gudauta hospital on October 17. Despite all the therapy, the man died from an increase in respiratory and heart failure.

There are 30 patients with Covid-19 in Sukhum Infectious Diseases Hospital, 14 patients in Gagra Hospital, two of them have a Covid-19 diagnosis. There are 27 patients in Ochamchira hospital, 18 of them were diagnosed with coronavirus.

The operational headquarters calls on the citizens of Abkhazia to observe all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
