He noted that currently more than 2/3 of the consumer market is formed at the expense of imported food. “There are certainly a lot of problems. But we hope that by joint efforts it will be possible to overcome a significant part of these problems, ” President said.

First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov expressed interest in cooperation. “The planned series of joint events is fundamentally important and useful for both Abkhazia and Russia. We have a full understanding that cooperation between our countries in the field of agriculture will be effective, ” Khatuov said.
