The agreements were signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Nicaragua Zaur Gvadzhava and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua Yaoska Calderon. 

Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Venezuela Zaur Gvadzhava noted that the signing of these agreements is a very important event for Abkhazia and Nicaragua and that both countries will adequately fulfill their obligations under these agreements. He also stressed that the people of Abkhazia never forget their friends and will always appreciate with gratitude the historic decision to recognize the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia, made by the leadership of Nicaragua in the person of President Daniel Ortega. 

In turn, Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua Yaoska Calderon, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua, expressed gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia for the efforts in relations development between the two countries, and expressed the hope that the signing of these agreements will be another step towards the formation of a higher level of mutual understanding and partnership between the two states.
