Logua reported on how the instructions of President to combat illegal mining of cryptocurrencies are being implemented.
The head of Chernomorenergo informed Aslan Bzhania that since the meeting, energy consumption in the districts has been decreasing daily, and added that work on shutting down mining farms continues.
According to Logua, more than 50 megawatts were turned off in two days of work.
The Head of State noted that the measures that the state proposed to the Parliament, namely the seizure of equipment, heavy fines and criminal liability, will be a huge support for the power industry.
President also noted that Acting Prime Minister and Heads of administrations will personally check where and who was disconnected from the network. “I will come too and we will draw conclusions if what is reflected in the document differs from reality,” President noted.
