President noted that substantial support in the fight against coronavirus infection was provided by the business community, the Abkhaz diaspora in Turkey and Moscow, the medical community of the Russian Federation, international organizations and simply friends of Abkhazia.

"530 beds were created in the republic. The country's budget alone allocated 265 million rubles to combat Covid-19. A specialized facility was built in Gudauta to treat patients with coronavirus, a computer tomograph, a large number of ventilators, concentrators and various consumables were purchased. There were deployed hospitals in four districts of the republic, one Russian military hospital - in "Aytar". Our doctors are consulted by physicians, natives of Abkhazia, working in Russia. Also, for several months, specialists from the Russian Federation come to us on a rotational basis. Thanks to the help of Russian colleagues in the republic, the vaccination process will soon be launched, " Aslan Bzhania noted.

President also noted that 371 medical personnel are engaged in treating covid patients. The state has provided a salary increase of 54 million rubles."

We understand that this is little money, but the state's capabilities are also small. Bow and great thanks to the doctors who are in direct daily contact with patients.
