“The memorandum is aimed at developing partnership relations. Both Moscow and Abkhazia have interesting experience and can offer a lot to each other in the field of tourism. This will be a useful cooperation, the positive effect of which will be appreciated by many travelers ”, - said chairman of the Moscow City Tourism Committee, Ekaterina Pronicheva.

It was decided that the departments will jointly work out favorable conditions for tourismr cooperation. The exchange of expert opinions of specialists and analysts will be an important stage in this work.

“Moscow is one of the world capitals, and cooperation with it in the field of tourism is certainly of great importance for Abkhazia,” noted Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia Teimuraz Khishba.

Also there is planned development of educational tourism for children within the framework of the "City of Discovery" project and holding of joint events aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the regions for tourists.
