Despite the difficult epidemiological situation in the past year, we managed to implement a number of joint projects. In particular, the concert of the Academic Big Choir "Masters of Choral Singing" under the direction of the People's Artist of Russia L.Z. Kontorovich on the stage of the Abkhaz State Philharmonic named after Razhden Gumba and an online show of the play "Hadzhi Murat" of the State Russian Drama Theater named after Fazil Iskander, which gained more than 200 thousand views.
I would also like to note the successful implementation of the online project "Days of Culture without Barriers", - noted Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova.
This year Ministry of Culture of Russia plans to continue the practice of holding this event and hopes for participation of the Republic of Abkhazia in it.
Minister of Culture of Abkhazia Gudisa Agrba sincerely thanked the Ministry of Culture of Russia for the support and implementation of extensive concert and touring activities.
“Unfortunately, many events had to be canceled due to objective reasons. I hope this year we will be able to implement bright and large-scale projects. We will be glad to see all the guests and will try to pay dignified attention to everyone, ” Minister said.
Within the framework of bilateral cultural cooperation, it is planned to hold concerts of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble named after Igor Moiseyev in the Republic in May 2021, the play "Bloody Wedding" by the State Russian Drama Theater named after F.A. Iskander at the opening of the XXIII International Theater Festival of the CIS and Baltic countries "Meetings in Russia" in St. Petersburg.
In addition, there will be a concert program of the laureates of the International Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky together with the State Symphony Orchestra of the State Philharmonic of the Republic of Adygea with participation of the State Chamber Orchestra of the Republic of Abkhazia on the Independence Day of the Republic of Abkhazia in Sukhum.
