One of these objects is the Gagra Colonnade. About 6.5 million rubles were allocated at the first stage to strengthen its foundation. At the second stage, 17.4 million rubles were spent on the complete restoration of the entire colonnade. In 2020, the renovation was completed and the facility was put into operation, Timur Agrba said.
Nazarov was interested in the building opposite the colonnade - the non-functioning House of Culture.
Christina Ozgan noted that all regional houses of culture were restored within the framework of the Investment Program, this only object remained. “A very nice building. This is an object of historical and cultural heritage in the resort area. Of course, I really want it to be restored and an integral historical and architectural ensemble to be formed here, ” she said.
Then the delegation proceeded to Gagra embankment and to the park of the Prince of Oldenburg. The head of the UKS said that the overhaul of the 1.5 km embankment was almost completed.
According to the project, the cost of repair work on the embankment and in the park is 71 million rubles. However, so far only 39 million rubles have been funded. With these funds, paving slabs were laid, a bank protection wall was installed, all communications passing through the park were replaced, the drainage system, power supply, and lighting were repaired.
“The tiles have been laid almost to the end of the embankment. Now the work has been suspended due to the suspension of funding, there is only a small section to be completed. It is planned to lay tiles on the territory of the park itself. Also, it remains to install benches and trash bins in the park, complete the work on lighting and landscaping, plant new trees and put old plantings in order, ”Agrba said.
