Bzhania and Neradko discussed the resumption of air communication with the Republic of Abkhazia, organization of design and survey work for the reconstruction of airfield infrastructure facilities at the Sukhum airport.

The Russian-Abkhaz working group has formed a "road map". The work to prepare the facility for the start of design and survey work is underway. There is carrying out an expert assessment of the necessary equipment for organizing the airport's operational activities. The necessary package of documents in the field of air legislation of the Republic of Abkhazia is being prepared.

The meeting also discussed the issue of training aviation specialists.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in developing and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
