The head of state and members of the Abkhaz delegation paid tribute to the memory of the Syrian soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom of the Motherland at different periods of history. An honor guard of the Syrian Armed Forces was lined up at the Memorial, led by commander of the southern military district of the Syrian Armed Forces in honor of the visit of President of Abkhazia.

The military history museum is also located here. There was held a museum tour for the Abkhaz delegation. President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania left an entry in the book of honored guests.
