We looked at several objects being built as part of Investment Program, saw the New Athos schools. We have a very good experience. But there are objects that need to be tightened up, retrofitted, especially social infrastructure - schools, kindergartens. We agreed with colleagues on how these objects will be financed so that they will be commissioned by September 1, so that children can go to kindergartens and schools. "

Mikhail Babich also noted that there were discussed more ambitious issues during the trip. Namely, the energy supply of the republic, treasury budget execution, budget deficit, which is expected this year.

At the same time, he called development of tourism in Abkhazia a promising sector.

“We imagine the situation with budget due to coronavirus spread, we understand how much the fees fell during the holiday season, how much key sectors of the republic's economy have suffered. We have to discuss all these issues and come to a common solution in order to provide the necessary assistance, " Babich said.

President Aslan Bzhaniya stressed that close attention will be paid to implementation of Investment Program, everything must be done at a high level and on time.
