It is noted that 57 volunteers have already received the first vaccines and 43 received a placebo. Six volunteers told about the pain at the injection site. "The pain was insignificant and of short-term nature (1-2 days). They have no other side effects," the message says.
The Rospotrebnadzor noted that the EpiVakCorona vaccine induces development of an immune response after two doses with an interval of 14-21 days. Only one volunteer has received two vaccinations so far. "Clinical trials are planned to be completed in September 2020," Rospotrebnadzor added.
The submission of the complete registration files of this vaccine is planned in October 2020 with subsequent transition to production in November 2020.
