The meeting discussed the dynamics of costs associated with protecting public health from Covid-19, as well as issues of paying off debts to organizations supplying medicines, oxygen and much more for treating patients in hospitals of the republic.
Minister of Finance noted the growth of financial needs of medical institutions.
“We have financed the health care system for 30 million 200 thousand rubles over the past week,” Delba said.
Earlier, the average weekly coverage of all needs related to the treatment of coronavirus patients was 18 million rubles.
Butba explained that the increase in needs is associated with an increase in the number of patients, as well as with a severe course of the disease.
“The virus is aggressive and aggravated by seasonal ARVI and ARI,” Butba said.
Alexander Ankvab instructed to control the dispensing of drugs, while ensuring a timely supply of medicines and protective equipment for a month in advance.
“The state is doing everything possible to ensure that the patient does not experience a deficit in either drug provision, or in care and nutrition. But the greatest responsibility rests with citizens: to get vaccinated, not to visit places of mass gathering and to comply with sanitary standards of protection, ” Ankvab noted.
