The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of Abkhazia to Russia Igor Akhba and Counselor-Envoy of the Russian Embassy in Abkhazia Maxim Litvinov.

Alexey Dvinyanin congratulated Inal Ardzinba on his appointment to the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs and wished him success in his work.

The urgency of launching new Abkhaz-Russian projects in the field of youth policy, culture, sports and education was noted during the meeting.

One of the key areas of cooperation was the creation of conditions for the full participation of Abkhazia in the integration processes in the post-Soviet space, implemented on the initiative and with the assistance of the Russian Federation.

The meeting participants discussed a wide range of topical issues of bilateral Abkhaz-Russian relations.

Inal Ardzinba and Alexey Dvinyanin expressed hope for further joint fruitful work for the development and comprehensive strengthening of relations between the two countries.
