We agreed to expand cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the regions of the Russian Federation. This will open up broad opportunities for attracting investment to our country.

The possibility of the Russian side providing assistance in disseminating information for the protection and promotion of the national interests of the Republic of Abkhazia was also discussed. In this regard, the opening of a joint Media Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia is being worked out.

We considered a number of topics of mutual interest, including the need to resume regular flights between Abkhazia and Russia.

A stable internal political situation in Abkhazia is extremely important for the Russian Federation, as an ally and strategic partner of our country. Our international image, the expansion of foreign policy contacts, the positive progress in socio-economic development programs implementation directly depend on this.

The talks were held in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere."
