Monday, 24 January 2022 00:46 432

Sukhum. December 29, 2021. Apsnypress. The press conference of President Aslan Bzhaniya was dedicated to the results of the outgoing 2021.

Answering a question on the achievements and problems of this year, Aslan Bzhaniya noted that the country was experiencing problems with the spread of coronavirus infection, as well as problems in energy sector.

The head of state noted the implementation of the budget, the increased tourist flow and increase in tax and customs payments. The head of the republic also said that about 800 million rubles will be spent in the next three years on digitalization of processes of administering taxes and customs payments.

“We will introduce digital technologies, and our Russian colleagues will help us with this. This will give tangible results. For many years, the same people regularly pay taxes, as well as pay for electricity, while others hide their income. The situation needs to be changed,” Bzhaniya said.

He also said that this year the state has provided assistance to 5,700 people in the amount of more than 400 million rubles.

The increase in wages over the past two years amounted to 60%.

The salaries of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been increased by 70%. The salary of employees of the State Security Service has been increased by 75%.

Over a hundred vehicles were purchased for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“The state will make every effort to further increase the salaries of law enforcement officers. Today it has already risen from 12 thousand to 20 thousand, but this is not enough. The work of employees is very difficult,” said Bzhaniya.

He also said that under the State program "Housing" this year, more than 30 families were able to purchase housing. The state allocated funds for these purposes free of charge.

President drew attention to the important issues of tourism, which should become a benchmark for the country's development. He noted that many projects in this area have been planned and are being implemented, and considerable results have already been achieved. He called the construction of a large hotel complex in Pitsunda an important project, which will attract a significant number of tourists, including providing passenger traffic for the airport, the work on which is being actively conducted by the government. In connection with tourism development, the head of state also noted the importance of simplifying the procedure for crossing the state border with Russia. Work is also underway in this direction.
