The Commission begins its work in accordance with the new Procedure for the Indicative Plan formation for the coming year approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. The commission includes representatives of interested ministries and departments, as well as administrations of districts and Sukhum.
During the discussion, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Kristina Ozgan drew the attention of those present to the need to conduct a thorough analysis of economic indicators in all sectors of the economy and initiate proposals for amending the regulatory framework to stimulate economic entities and improve tax administration.
Ozgan noted that when forming production volumes, profits and wages, economic entities in all sectors of the national economy often deviate from objective indicators, which negatively affects revenues to the revenue side of budgets at all levels.
The indicators of the Indicative Plan for Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Abkhazia for 2023 are the basis for formation of the budget for the next financial year and must be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers by July 1, 2022.
