137 patients are at Gudauta Covid Hospital at the moment, 112 of them have been diagnosed with COVID-19. There are 22 people in serious condition, 55 patients in moderate severity. 13 people were discharged after treatment.

The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 2071 people. Of these, 811 recovered, 19 died.

A patient born in 1947 was admitted for treatment on October 1 with signs of bilateral polysegmental pneumonia, she died at Gudauta hospital on October 7. She had severe concomitant somatic diseases. Due to deteriorating condition of the patient, she was transferred to the intensive care unit and connected to a ventilator. Despite the ongoing therapy, the woman died on October 7.

Also, on October 7, a 67-year-old patient died in a covid hospital. She was admitted to the hospital on October 2 with bilateral polysegmental pneumonia. Despite the ongoing volumetric therapy, her condition worsened, she died on October 7. The woman had concomitant somatic diseases.

On the same day, another patient born in 1938 died in Gudauta hospital, he was admitted for treatment on September 21 with signs of non-hospital bilateral polysegmental pneumonia. Despite intensive treatment, the patient died on October 7. He had concomitant heart disease, hypertension and cardiac arrhythmias.

18 people were delivered to Gudauta hospital on October 7.

The operational headquarters calls on the residents of Abkhazia to observe all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
