The corresponding amendments were made to Order of President of the Republic of Abkhazia dated September 17, 2020 "On establishment of certain measures to protect the health of the population of the Republic of Abkhazia against coronavirus infection COVID-19".

- On the basis of Operational Headquarters' decision made on October 12, it is prohibited to hold mass sports, entertainment and exhibition events from October 15, 2020 to November 24, 2020;

- from October 15, 2020 to November 24, 2020 inclusive - activities of cultural institutions (theaters, museums, libraries, cultural centers, houses of culture, concert and exhibition halls);

- from October 15, 2020 to November 24, 2020 inclusive - activities of preschool institutions, educational institutions, educational circles, sports, dance, rehearsal rooms (sections), spa and massage salons, saunas;

Heads of central and local government bodies, other state bodies, state and municipal institutions, enterprises and organizations were ordered to release employees over 60 years old and employees with preschool and school age children  (1 - 4 grade inclusive)  from labor (official) duties (without prejudice to work, production) from October 15, 2020 to November 24, 2020.

Heads of commercial and non-profit organizations were recommended to exempt employees over 60 years of age and employees with preschool and school age children (grades 1-4 inclusive) from performing labor ( official) duties (without prejudice to work, production) in the period from October 15, 2020 to November 24, 2020 inclusive.
