Currently, there are 133 people in Gudauta Central Hospital, 114 of them with COVID-19 diagnosis. There are 19 people in serious condition, 31 patients of moderate severity. 5 patients were discharged.

An 86-year-old patient with bilateral polysegmental pneumonia was delivered to the infectious diseases department of Gudauta Central Hospital on October 17. The patient had confirmed coronavirus infection. The woman received the necessary treatment in full but, despite this,  died on the night of October 30.

A patient born in 1942, who was admitted to the infectious diseases department on October 15 with coronavirus infection and bilateral polysegmental pneumonia, died at Gudauta hospital. The man died on October 30 despite the intensive treatment.

The mobile multidisciplinary hospital, deployed in Sukhum is treating 62 patients with coronavirus infection. The state of health of 57 patients is of moderate severity, 5 people are in serious condition.

The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 4160 people. 40 deaths. 2257 have recovered.

The operational headquarters calls on the citizens of Abkhazia to observe all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
