There was held a meeting with Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Mikhail Babich and Head of the Directorate for Cross-Border Cooperation of the President's Office of Russia Alexey Filatov.
The participants of the meeting discussed a wide range of issues of Abkhaz-Russian cooperation, in particular, the implementation of projects of the Investment Program for Assisting the Socio-Economic Development for 2020-2022.
Aslan Bzhania expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Russian Federation for assistance provided to Abkhazia in the fight against coronavirus infection. It was noted that Russia will continue to provide assistance to Abkhazia in this matter.
The meeting also discussed the issue of providing Abkhazia with electricity during the period of shortages in winter and stopping the Ingurges for repairs.
As part of a working visit to Moscow, the head of state visited a large agro-industrial complex in Elektrostal, Moscow Region. There were discussed prospects for possible cooperation with representatives of the Government of the Moscow region and the leadership of the agro-industrial complex.
During his working visit, Aslan Bzhania visited his native university - the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI), from which he graduated in 1985.
During a meeting with the leadership of the Institute there was reached an agreement on the provision of limits in MADI for applicants from Abkhazia.
The head of state held a number of other meetings and negotiations, in particular with Head of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov and former President of Adygea Khazret Sovmen.
