On January 22, President ordered the creation of headquarters in each district to combat the illegal production of cryptocurrency under the leadership of the heads of district administrations and to reduce the load on the power grid to the level of 2019 plus 5%.

According to data provided by heads of the districts, the load has been reduced by 17.2 megawatts, 32 farms have been turned off in Gagra district.

In Gudauta region, electricity consumption has been reduced by 8 megawatts, 37 farms have been identified and shut down.

In Ochamchira region, 43 farms have been disconnected, the load has been reduced by 18.9 magawatts.

Since the start of the commission's work, 32 objects have been identified in Sukhum region, and 11 more objects, the load has been reduced by 6 megawatts.

In Gal district, 4 farms and 13 devices in private houses and sites have been disconnected.

In Gulrypsh district, 20 crypto farms have been disconnected, the load has been reduced by 10.6 megawatts.

In Tkuarchal region, 11 crypto farms have been disconnected, the load has been reduced by 5.7 megawatts.

In Sukhum, 49 crypto farms have been turned off, the load reduced by 15.8 megawatts.

As a result of the meeting, Aslan Bzhania said: “I will arrive in an unexpected time to every district at all addresses where farms have been discovered. You will be greatly upset by the consequences if the reports of the heads of district administrations do not coincide with what I saw."
