On the Abkhaz side, the protocol was signed by co-chairman of the Abkhaz part of the Joint Commission, First Deputy Prime Minister Beslan Dzhopua, on the Russian side - by co-chairman of the Crimean part of the Joint Commission, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov.
Dzhopua and Muradov noted that the meeting was successful and fruitful.
“We worked in separate groups, as well as in a joint meeting. I believe that the issues that were voiced here and the events that are planned are very important for Abkhazia and Crimea. Our joint work will give a good result, ” said Beslan Dzhopua.
Georgy Muradov thanked the leadership of Abkhazia and all participants of the meeting for their hospitality and efficient work.
“Throughout the day, we discussed a whole range of issues, developed the protocol of the third meeting, prepared an action plan for trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation for 2022 - 2024. These documents will become the basis for our joint work in the near future, " Muradov said.
"It is very important that we had complete mutual understanding regarding the tasks that we face. We will do whatever is necessary after the end of the difficult period of the pandemic so that our relations move forward quickly and efficiently, and this will benefit both the Crimeans and the people of Abkhazia. It is very important for trade and economic relations to increase the budgets of our republics and be mutually beneficial, ” Muradov said. At the same time, he stressed the importance of developing relations in the field of culture, education, and sports.
