This is a patient who was hospitalised at Gudauta Central Hospital the day before with covid-19 symptoms. This was confirmed today in laboratory. The Operational Headquarters reported on Thursday, August 13.
Currently, there are 32 patients with confirmed coronavirus at Gudauta Central Hospital. 7 patients were discharged. One patient from Gudauta Central Hospital was transported to a specialized hospital in Sochi to provide specific medical care.
A Russian citizen was also sent from Gagra to Sochi for treatment.
The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia is 156 people. Of these 58 recovered, three patients died.
