Gal residents asked President why there are delays in the issuance of a "residence permit".
Referring to the heads of the district's law enforcement agencies, Bzhania said: “Power exists in order to solve people's problems, not create them. And problems should be created only for those who break the law. There are statutory deadlines for issuing such documents, they should not be violated. Maybe personnel decisions will affect the situation? Maybe the officials do not feel the acuteness of the problem? If there are such problems, please contact me directly. One unmotivated violation, and we will have to deal with other leaders. "
Bzhania instructed the heads of the regional structures of the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office to find out why the issuance of a "residence permit" is being delayed and to fix the problem.
The teacher of the Gal school spoke about the problem of moving school graduates to Georgia for higher education and subsequent employment. She noted the need for the certification of children so that they could enter the universities of Abkhazia and Russia.
“Graduates of schools of the Gal district, who wish to enter universities in Russia and Abkhazia, should not be hindered. These norms of a restrictive nature, which are applied to some residents of the Gal district of the older generation, should not be applied to representatives of the younger generation," President said.
Aslan Bzhania instructed the presidential office to take control over the problem of providing graduates of schools in the Gal district the opportunity to study in Abkhazia and Russia and interview graduates where they want to study. “Consider that this issue will be resolved on an individual basis. Let's create a precedent, and then we'll see, ” he said.
The representative of the "Society of Murzakans" raised the problem of returning some Galians of Abkhazian nationality. According to him, since the beginning of the organization's activities since 2015, 600 people have applied for the restoration of the Abkhaz nationality. Only 120 applications were considered by the Presidential Administration and the requests were satisfied.
President instructed representatives of his office to find out why 480 people did not receive the right to regain their original nationality, and if there is a reasoned answer to provide it within the next week.
