The arrived ambulance team stated acute respiratory failure, the oxygen level in the blood was 55-60 percent. Oxygen therapy performed promptly raised the oxygen level to 72-78 percent. However, when trying to transport the patient, cardiac arrest occurred. Resuscitation measures, unfortunately, did not bring any effect, death was pronounced.

Taken analysis for COVID-19 gave a positive result.

This is the seventh death from the beginning of the spread of coronavirus infection in Abkhazia.
