President got acquainted with the progress of work in a special room for a computer tomograph, talked with the specialists involved in its installation.

Bzhania invited doctors to speak directly about the problems in the hospital. "I pose this question not because we do not trust someone, but because it is you who are at the forefront of the fight against the disease, and, like no one else, you know how things are," President said.

Chief Physician Khadzharat Shamba informed the head of state about the state of affairs in the hospital. He noted that at the moment the Covid Center is coping with the task of providing patients with the necessary treatment. At the same time, Shamba stressed that, given the trend of a sharp increase in the number of cases, it is necessary to prepare additional places.

Health Minister Tamaz Tsakhnakia explained that all hospitals in Abkhazia will prepare special boxes for the treatment of covid-infected people.

President instructed Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Vladimir Delba to pay salaries to the staff of Gudauta Hospital.

Aslan Bzhania also drew attention to the inadmissibility of delays in additional payments.

President thanked all health workers for their selfless work and instructed Minister of Health to present the most distinguished for additional encouragement from the state.
